Plot: Kaya thought she had found the perfect job when she became the private secretary of Kyouhei Touma - the director of a tableware company of the same name. Kaya is doing her best to prove that she is capable in her work, but one night, by accident, she discovers his secret... of him being a vampire!

Review:
I know it's josei but hey it's still manga so I'll keep this short and sweet. When I first read it, it was an enjoyable read. I was just looking for a vampire romance and I gave it a go. It fulfilled it's purpose of giving of women sense of excitement with endeavoring into a forbidden relationship with a boss and a vampire at that.

The major flaw is what the author described as the "Cinderella Effect", in other words the over dependence on a man by a women. The main lead, Kaya, is shown to be indecisive and needing Kyouhei to intervene and solve all her little problems. Like he tells her to sit there and wait for him. Plus the relationship is pretty dysfunctional, him having sex with her, taking her blood and being super possessive. Also, there's a better guy available yet she goes for the douche bag. Sure he's hot, rich and a director and all but he's still horrible.

If your purpose of reading manga right now is to kill time then it's pretty good for what it is.
If your looking for a story-line with meaningful things or you don't have time to waste on mediocre thing then don't read it.
I find it misleading how highly rated the series is. I think the vampire smut aspect of it had something to do with it. If you took out the smut it'd be a lot blander.
I'm not an avid smut reader and I think it's a bit graphic but nothing hardcore.

On a unrelated topic, this song by k-pop group miss A sums up what I want to see in manga which is female independence and forming meaningful relationships without being dependent on men. Make sure you enable subs and female independence ftw.
